About Andrew Deeley

Currently enjoying building something very exciting in the alternative credit market, aimed at driving the cost to consumer down to lowest possible levels.

Being fortunate to have experienced a diverse range of operational, strategic and leadership roles, across multiple disciplines, has given me great insight into how best to drive value from within. It has also given me ample opportunity to push boundaries when it comes developing and implementing digital strategies.

I have enjoyed a diverse career, initially in the world of developing computer games back in the mid 80’s, before moving into £1m+ pa city centre pub/restaurant management. From here I found myself in a ground floor opportunity with Thorn EMI when they opened their first hybrid household product / consumer finance store in the UK; this took me along a very successful career path in specialist consumer finance sector and onto the operations board of Dunraven Finance Ltd.

This brought me back full circle into a technology roll as I invented and manufactured both hardware and software, that helped this business revolutionise the way that it interacted with its consumers, managed its collections and sales processes, communicated with its field workforce and reduced its cost to serve.

I then spent a 3 years devoting time and energy into inspiring, coaching and supporting local unemployed who had the potential to start their own business ventures, primarily to help create jobs on the on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent. This I did on a voluntary basis through the non-for-profit Innov8 On Sheppey CIC where we helped over 200 people through the various programmes that we ran. (http://www.innov8onsheppey.com)

In 2016, I took on an Interim Commercial and Chief Technology Officer role where the main focus was supporting a growing organisation that specialised Vehicle Logistics. The initial task was to ensure that it was fit for growth through the implementation of new systems, processes and business structure.
