I’ve written a lot of articles, how do you decide which ones to publish?
Our group content editor makes the final decision as to what will be published. The key criteria though are relevance and quality. There are also criteria concerning originality, copyright and decency that are outlined in our terms and conditions.
Quality is enormously important to us and we have strict criteria for what makes a good article.
Articles which present a case study, or a “How To” are particularly popular as are “Lessons learnt” and topical comment.
As a rule articles should be:
- Interesting and useful – How, Why / Case Studies
- Well researched
- Contain quotes or credited references from peers / sources throughout article
- Good grammar and grasp of business language
- Interesting with a well written conclusion
- Technical terms explained for a layperson
- Contain Images, charts, videos, graphs etc to illustrate points where relevant
- Videos should be transcribed
We encourage all our authors to share not only their own articles but those of our community using the hashtag on Twitter #DigitalAuthor

Do you edit or fact-check articles prior to publishing?
Other than a light editing of the title, image or your bio, the onus is on you the writer to ensure your article is spell-checked and that any facts contained have been properly researched, credited and represented. We will not publish articles we feel do not come up to our in-house standards.

What genre of articles do you publish?
We publish content from authors that adds value to people and organisations interested in digital transformation. From digital strategy, people & change, programme delivery, cyber security, HR and recruitment, to technology. We are particularly interested in real life experience from people who have worked on digital transformation initiatives. What works, what doesn’t work, How To and Case Studies.
Success stories are always welcome and so too are lessons learnt from those times when it didn’t quite go as planned!
