The new world map of the top 100 platform companies (Dec. 2021) has been updated:
▪️ Value of the top 100 platforms rises by 18% to $16.4 trillion.
▪️ US share rises up to 78.5%
▪️ The share of Asia-Pacific crashes down to 17.3% (due to antitrust & regulation)
▪️ Europe has still a share of 2.8%.
▪️ Africa follows with a share of 1.4%
▪️ Most platforms in the ranking come from America (48), followed by Asia/Pacific (40), Europe (10) and Africa (2).
▪️ Minimum threshold for inclusion in the top 100 list rises up to $13.5 billion.
