Which agencies & creatives won the most awards globally in advertising during 2017? The Drum’s Big Won Rankings revealed

The Drum has published a selection of highlights from The Drum’s Big Won Rankings, a report that uses global awards data to determine the most successful creatives and companies working in advertising.

The full report will be released on 19 February and will feature top agencies by region, top planners and more details on award winning creatives.

The research includes 4,586 separate pieces of work from 1,886 agencies and involved 737 executive creative directors, 387 chief creative officers, 2,279 creative directors, 411 creatives, 1,485 copywriters, 1,846 art directors, 214 planners and 731 designers.

The points total was made up of winners taken from a global array of the industry’s top awards, including D&AD, Cannes Lions and the Clios, among many more.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, America was found the be the most successful country for total award wins which totaled 6026 points, followed by Australia with 2436 points and India scored 2248 points for the year. The United Kingdom came fourth with 2164 points and fifth was Brazil with 1960 points.
