AKA scores 7-digit endorsement deal with sports brand | DESTINY MAN

Rapper and radio host Kiernan “AKA” Forbes is the new face of Reebok Classics Africa

The outspoken rapper took to Instagram to share the news of his latest endorsement. “It gives me great pleasure to announce that I have signed a seven-figure deal as the FACE of @reebokclassics AFRICA. #ClassicAKA #ForeverClassic The first deal of its kind in South Africa… a game-changer,” he wrote.

AKA joins a global campaign that features hip-hop star Future, supermodel Gigi Hadid and rap duo Rae Sremmurd. The ambassadorship deal is the first of its kind in Africa between the sports brand and an artist.

In June this year, it was announced that AKA joined will be hosting his own The Supa Mega Show on Touch HD. Owned by businessman and DJ Thabo “Tbo Touch” Molefe, the online radio station has garnered media personalities such as Glen Lewis, Nomzamo Mbatha and Thembisa Mdoda since its relaunch in March this year.

In the same month, the award-winning artist officially ended his business with Vth Season.

Reebok also joined forces with AKA’s Beam Group. The holding group will take creative reign of innovative original elements of the campaigns and partnership, resourcing ways to enhance the Reebok brand and elevate it to greater heights.

The Reebok Classics collection is available in selected stores nationwide and across Africa.
